OUR STORY
We are a small family owned farm in a quiet, safe neighborhood.
We have traveled across the country with our equines and various other pets and like to find secure and clean places to overnight with our animals. So, we decided to open our farm up to travelers needing equine accommodations.
THE FARM
Windy Hill Farm is conveniently located on the West side of Amarillo with easy access to I40, numerous hotels, the medical center and restaurants. Safe, 12 x 12 matted stalls in an airy shed row MD barn or large pipe-fenced paddocks with 12' x 12' loafing sheds or 1 acre pastures. You are welcome to spend the night with your rig, dogs and livestock. We have easy turn around for big rigs with 50 and 30 amp hookup and water for trailers. If you want to drop your trailer, no problem. Completely fenced and gated for security. There are numerous equine events in Amarillo during the year, with Palo Duro Canyon State Park and AQHA within a few minutes

Super kind people and super accommodating place! The stalls were very nice and clean, my girls were happy happy to stay the night there. Will definitely leave them there again when stopping through Amarillo. Thanks again!

I stayed here with my team of 5 mustangs + 2 zebras and they were incredibly accommodating! They met me at a late hour to show me the pens and offer help unloading. Nice, safe fencing, clean water, etc.. Very helpful and kind people. I enjoyed my stay here and will certainly come again if ever in the area. Thanks again!
